It is a little far fetched, but not beyond the realms of possiblity...
We know Sonya was an alchoholic who had been in prison & she kept her distance from her family... And Callum was raised by his 'gran' as his Mum was 'inside'... If she had him when she was 16 & went inside when he was a toddler he wouldn't remember her... Though surely he would have seen photos of her...

I don't think Kyle will be making a 'big comeback' as I'm not sure if he was supposed to have left anyway, he's probably been busily working at Charlie's the whole time, just not seen on screen!
