It's a strange story now that Amber has left Hollyoaks. I don't know how the Police will handle it if there's no Amber to fit into the continuity.

Even if Finn comes clean about being the real father. It could be seen as he's saying this to get his father off the hook.

I know yeah, they need to bring Amber back to draw a line under it and then them finding out Finn is the father then she can leave again.

Paul M mucked up this story. I keep remembering that it's like a copy of the Justin and Becca storyline, which wasn't that long ago.
But, for the OConnors it could have been a good storyline but the way it has been executed had ruined it.
Finn and Amber have sex, she finds out she's pregnant just before the fire.
Then she randomly gets a crush on Rob, who she tries to kiss in the same episode.
Sinead finds a diary where apparently she's crushed on him for ages. The fact the Sharpes have all gone doesn't help, and Diane stealing a baby from the hospital (didn't know it was that easy) was brushed under the carpet quickly.

Could have been a great storyline for them, but their lack of presence in the actual main Hollyoaks village with the rest of the cast and the fact that what their storyline actually is keeps on changing on a whim is ridiculous. Maybe PM was sacked because all of the cast had complaints about him running the show. I hear a lot of the axed cast members didn't get along with him.

It was so crap how she told her mother she was preggers as well. No real emotion, just sitting outside a classroom. I think the fact the Sharpes were terrible actors were a big part. Amber and the mum were terrible. Amber has had a stupid smirk on her face in every scene, and the mums tone of voice never changed.
When they were with the O'Connors it's didn't gel cos of their acting skills, that Sinead is great at acting. Wish they didn't lump the O'Connors with the Sharpes at all cos they held them back. Now they're sort of icolated.

Oh yeah and the fact their dad was in and out of it all the time was stupid as well. Just casually walks in and out of the family. The Shapres were also a big reason why the fire storyline was a total let down
