plus, they were the first couple to come out of BB so at the time they wouldn't have known that being a couple was a good way to stay in the lime light anyway. Their relationship was so sweet and innocent to watch as well (eventhough Helen had a b/f at the time tut tut!!)

I think, looking back at it, most of the relationships formed in Big Brother have been real. It's just that some of them weren't all that long-lasting, but that is not the same as fake. I couldn't even say which ones were fake. There's not much real incentive for people to keep up a pretense, especially past a few weeks - it would be too difficult and they would have to give up too much.
I guess it comes down to whether you liked them or not in the house. If you liked a couple you don't mind seeing them successful outside the house, if you didn't many people won't want them to be successful so will say they're fake. Doesn't mean that they are that though. |
