I don't see how it's a 'lame' thing to say, the verses are more or less spoken [hey over there, ect.], i mean really you couldn't call that singing, anyone could do it. The only other vocals apart from the robotic chorus are on the bridge which is just one spoken line and a flop attempt at 'dubstep' [gotta love the stans trying to make out she's some revolutionary dubstep artist now].
also, the Telephone demo is Britney with A WHOLEEEEE LOT of autotune. just because Womanizer, 3, HIAM et al. don't sound that that doesn't mean they aren't generously making use of the autotune tool.

Alice was a song released from a soundtrack, that doesn't really count, and it wasn't marketed as a comeback single like What The Hell is.
Robotic chorus? LOL, okay. Another description from you that doesn't at all match the actual song. Choose your words wisely. No one is saying she's a "revolutionary dubstep artist", people are praising the fact that she's the first pop artist to truely bring dubstep to American radio and experiment with it, and take a chance in doing so.
Sure, I wouldn't doubt there's very minimal autotune here or there in certain parts, but that's exactly the same for any pop artist out there :/ It's not like she relies on autotune in order to produce decent vocals.
