I've decided to point blank ask, why does my post which insulted LemonJam get deleted and I get a warning, yet the two above posts are still there (and I assume they get nothing)? Can a mod answer this, please?

No I didn't, and even if the mod(s) did agree with him, they're meant to have neutral views when it comes to insults - all are wrong.

I'm living in an unfamiliar city and I don't have a phone book; after I'd tried the SSPCA (by calling 118 247) I didn't do anything further, because their office was closed.

I still feel terrible..

How far away do you live from it? should go back there in a few hours if your close by and see if it's still there, if it is ring the number again and if it's not then it's been rescued

Out dog went to bite one of the kids, so obviously we had to get rid, we spent about 6 hours ringing up the shelters round here...all were 'full'. RSPCA wouldnt take him unles he was abused (basically telling us the only way we could get help was to hit the dog

Whilst I dont agree with it at all, I do understand why some people get so frustrated that they abandon the dogs. None of these so called charities will help with rehoming when you actually need it, as much as they bleat on about it.

Luckily we managed to find a home for our dog ourselves in the end.

OK, so whenever I ay something like this...something always ****s up.

I had him microchipped when he was ours, I gave the lass who took him the papers to get him changed into her name. She didnt do it...and last night i find out hes been missing since before xmas and she doesnt want him back oviously as she never mentioned it. So now I have to ring the chip people tomorrow to try and get him found

Not too sure how it works...if they can trace him by it or just if hes handed in he gets brought here :/

The Ispca here is like that but the voluntary animal shelters are fantastic.

No it doesn't work like that. If he's found and they run the scanner over the chip they'll have his details but he can't be found with it
