I'm ok. My left hand hurts though. I had to write so much in school today - I had a Geography test and a History Controlled Assessment. The controlled assessment was 2 hours of writing and Geography another hour on top of that.

History tests/assessments are just pure evil though. The amount of writing you have to do is obscene.

Yeah I am. We're moving on to American Civil Rights now we've finished our controlled assessment. The whole civil rights thing looks so interesting.

Same...It's horrible. I don't think i'm doing the same course as you though, i'm looking at Nazi Germany and then moving on to medicine throughout the years :|

I seriously regret it though, I have no idea what to do in lessons, your so right about the controlled assessmet, they expect you to do so much. Like I had on Thursday and it was 3 questions that were all together marked out 30 and we were expected to do it in 30 minutes, AND she told us that we would have had shorter time in the real exam!

Oh we've done the Nazi Germany stuff already. Our 3 topics were Nazi Germany, The Cold War and American Civil Rights + Britain in the 60s for our Controlled Assessment. But ew at medicine throughout the years O_o That sounds so boring.

And ikr? I wrote filled 3 sheets of paper on both sides. I knew someone who'd done 4 pages double sided. I've royally fucked up the controlled assessment though but I can make it up on the exams (I hope). But yeah it was absolutely evil. I hate the way the school isn't allowed to give you much guidance on it. It makes everything so difficult. I've had too many history exams recently anyway. I've already done the Nazi Germany exam for reals a couple of weeks ago so thats gonna go towards my grade. I think I did well in it though.

I'm currently looking at children and women of Nazi Germany which has been so much better than the previous stuff I did.

I actually really enjoyed it tbh. Nazi Germany interests me, so I found the topic pretty easy, just make sure you revise a lot for the exam. They throw up random events from any part of the topic be it Weimar Germany or the Nazis.

I liked that bit. It was really interesting to see how they brainwashed the children.

Same here. I understand why they have them and everything but they make everything needlessly tough. And we didn't have controlled assessments in English, we just had coursework. That was the only subject with the coursework system though. I think they are gonna do the controlled assessment stuff in english with the new Year 10s.
