Yesterday I wasn't feeling well so I just decided to spend the day in bed and watch all of Season 1 (today I started Season 2 as well). I like it alot, but I might actually say I prefer Season 5. In Gen. 1, I love Cassie, Chris, and Michelle. Sid I like but I don't think he's THAT great. Jal is nice but not very interesting, neither is Anwar. Tony...he's okay. Maxxie is just there for me, but he's nice. But overall I find the characters in S5 more interesting and intriguing. I also think the storylines and how they are portrayed are more well done and unique while Season 1 has alot of cliches (girl loves boy, boy doesn't love girl. boy realizes he loves girl, but its too late and girl leaves town,etc). Maybe it's because I've also already been watching Skins US which practically has the same storyline (somewhat).

I still love it though. But I think Season 5 is just really well done.

It would have been better if the US version had their own characters, the only aspect of it that's better then the original is Tea. The UK series is better in every way apart from that.

With Series 5 I just can't grow accustomed to the new cast. It's just not clicking. I'm enjoying it don't get me wrong but the characters from the other generations were just better I thought.
