Looks like she'll be going uptempo from now on...
Leona Lewis has been banned from singing ballads, according to reports.
Her team at Simon Cowell's Syco label have apparently said that they are looking to send the Hackney singer in a new direction.
"Simon Cowell's Syco team have asked songwriters to hand them dubstep and dance tracks with traditional lyrics for the 'X Factor' winner," said a source.
"And they've specifically stated no ballads. It's a big change for her."
The move comes after her last album 'Echo' sold only a third of the copies of her debut, and her last single 'I Got You' only reached number 14 in the charts. [The Sun]
