Well GTA 5 is only 11 Months away.

In 2007 they had a trailer out 10 Months before GTA IV even came out, we should be having tons of news coming out soon.

They're probably keeping quiet about it though, because it'll kill the excitement stone dead for LA Noire if they announce anything.

Rockstar said the game will be released in January 2012, Numerous sites have also said in recent weeks it will be released no later than early 2012.

You are wrong. Rockstar have yet to give a release date. End of story.

Rockstar haven't released an official statement about anything. They haven't even announced the game yet. Obviously there will be a GTA V but anything you've heard about dates or where it's set etc. is all fan speculation.
