Yesterday I wasn't feeling well so I just decided to spend the day in bed and watch all of Season 1 (today I started Season 2 as well). I like it alot, but I might actually say I prefer Season 5. I still love it though. But I think Season 5 is just really well done.

It would have been better if the US version had their own characters, the only aspect of it that's better then the original is Tea. The UK series is better in every way apart from that.

With Series 5 I just can't grow accustomed to the new cast. It's just not clicking. I'm enjoying it don't get me wrong but the characters from the other generations were just better I thought.

I agree the UK version is without a doubt better.

But in some aspects the US version is better. I agree with you that Tea is far more interesting than Maxxie. I also like Stan better than Sid. And I think US Michelle does a good job of UK Michelle so far. But yeah, other than than UK > US.

Wiki has it (totals inc. +1)...

Ew @ all the negativity in this thread. **** off if you don't like it then.

I'm absolutely loving this season. It's very very well done.

I've watched both of the first 2 generations now and can still say I think this is the best season and possibly the best cast.
