in white i think you can catch 32 different pokemon at the end, and then in black you just get to battle trainers, that's what i heard.

Both versions have a different main legendary pokemon as well as other exclusive pokemon. Each version has a different extra location as well, Black gets Black City where you can buy Items while White gets White forest where you can catch some of the older pokemon. I've not got to Black City yet but from what I hear it's a better deal then the forest as it's just stuff like Pidgeys and that.
