Oh ok. Its just I've read on reviews that you have to hold it pretty still to get the full 3D effect. Is the 3D actually any good?

They are more than serviceable. Crysis 2 has the best graphics ever seen on a home console but it's boring as a biscuit and not a patch on something like Half Life which was released in 1998.

Games don't look like games anymore. They are trying too hard to be Hollywood and the imagination is draining from them as a result. That's why I love something still game-ish and silly like a Dead Rising 2.
True but it would've been nice if Nintendo could make the graphics a bit nicer.

They don't need to be any nicer because Nintendo don't churn out intensive war games for hardcore crowds who monitor their framerates for the sheer pleasure of it.

Why would you soup up your system to increase productions costs and retail price in order to alienate a customer base that doesn't value earth shattering graphics?

It's horrible business accumen.

Well you do have to hold it quite still, but it's much the same as any other hand-held, if you hold it awkwardly you won't get the full effect of the graphics or display and in this case it's the 3D effect. The 3D is awesome actually, it's better than I thought it would be, especially with the adjuster because if it's a bit too much for you then you can either switch it off or just lower the intensity according to your preference.

I didn't think it would add much to the game and thought it would be a bit gimmicky myself but now I've played it with and without the 3D on the same game, the 3D just makes it a much more fun experience. I guess it all boils down to what you want from the hand-held, I used to have a PSP because I was more interested in the game play and graphic aspect, but I sold it a couple of months after because I had my xbox which for obvious reasons is much more powerful and better on both counts than a hand-held. So I guess the DS is just a bit more 'fun' and light hearted for me and the 3D only adds to that

Hmm I'm starting to change my mind now. I think ima check one of these things out in person, then I'll decide for sure.
