You are right there jf, Arsenal get away with murder. Rooney is Rooney,what you see is what you get, he is his own worst enemy though and should know better by now than to use foul language when cameras are about.

Same as fans loudly swearing which can be heard on TV because of how loud the chants become, if footballers get criticised for it by fans + the media then they should look at themselves too because it works both ways.

I like Man Utd and also rate Rooney as a player too,while I see your point there is a difference, the fans are the fans, Rooney is a professional footballer and England player,therfore he should be an ambassador for the game also he is on a ridiculously massive wage too which the fans are not.
He needs to learn to simply 'behave' when he is aware the cameras are there and he clearly knows they are.

blackburn was still down to ten men,also against birmingham in the premiership both times they got away with blatent dives and handballs.

and they just get away with dives and vicious fouls against teams.

Yeah it has. Now the FA have to be more consistent and charge over players who get caught swearing and do the same thing or they will be accused of double standards again and back to square one..
