Are there any jobs going for Big Brother on Channel 5? I heard they are looking for an executive producer. So is there going to be a brand new team on BB? I would love to work for BB. Anyone know if there is any runner jobs or owt going?

Doesn't really matter. Big Brother is still made by Endemol and are based in the same spot at Elstree.

Sounds like they've already got one.

Channel 5’s Head of Factual Entertainment, Steve Gowans, will oversee the new series of Big Brother. At Initial the series will be overseen by Creative Director, Nick Samwell-Smith and Managing Director, Laurence Jones.

Even for runner they are probably going to want some people with experience in the field. Not desperate wannabes who think it would be pretty swell to work on their favourite show.

I dont think there would be many if any jobs going on channel 5 for Big Brother, they dont make the show.

A subsidiary company of Endemol do, you would be better off looking on their website to see if they have anything going, chances are there will be.

Mind you, you probably need a little bit of experience in TV or the Media, be living in the London area or willing to relocate, as once they start getting things together it will be all work till the end of next years CBB.

Thanks Shasown. When I went to the auditions though there was a girl who was a runner at the Manchester auditions. She said she was only going to be a runner at the Manchester auditions because she goes to uni up there.

Meh I have a job anyway. But would be cool to work for BB. Especially being one of those people who stamps the auditionee's on the hand to get past round 1. Lol.

Yeah but a lot of the auditioning while being run by a couple of the actual BB production team, used local PR and recruitment people to set up and run the auditions. Especially in the later series.

If that is still the case for the new series chances are you might be better getting onto local agencies books.
