I've actually warmed to Jo Brand recently.. Seen her on a few things and she is intelligent and witty.

She's also incredibly humble. The stuff she does for people is amazing yet she dies with embarrassment if anyone mentions it. She said her biggest problem in life is she cannot say no to people asking for help. She seriously puts herself out yet thank her and she waves it off and quickly changes the subject. She can't abide it being talked about

I love her as an actress but I think too often (at least on television anyway) she falls back on "I'm fat / old / grumpy" jokes.
