I'm a bit peeved of how bads its done opening weekend. I think it will pick up this week. It only opened Friday. There's still hope.

For me, this is the BEST entry in the franchise. Its brilliant!

Seen as they killed off Kirby there is no point in a scream 5. She was one of the best

Maybe Dewey or Gale will target her? There are still characters who were in the previous Screams that weren't killed off.

If the writer can come up with a good idea for Scream 5 then go for it!!

I think the box office will do better for the film this week..

Some people wait a week or so until a film is released to see it!

I think it's very much assumed she's dead because the audience didn't see her carried out on a stretcher like Dewey was in Screams 1 or 2, and he didn't tell Jill she was still alive either. BUT, far-fetched, we didn't see her die. We saw Charlie leave her for dead. I'll treat her as officially dead based on the previous reasons though.

Don't forget Judy 'Wear the vest, save your chest' Hicks! And like my above comment, it's very much implied Kirby's dead, but she might not be. If she did pull through I'd love for Kirby to go to Windsor college and the theme would be 'sequels of remakes' such as Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 or The Hills Have Eyes 2.

I can't stop stressing how I'd love some other surviving characters to come back if there were to be a Scream 5. Patrick Dempsey's character, Martha (Randy's sister as the new Randy?), Portia De Rossi and Rebecca Gayheart etc.

But then I think Kevin Williamson pitched three movies to the Weinsteins. He pitched an arc over the three films. He must have a good idea on where to go from here. Plus he's actually contracted to write the fifth. He said when he was contracted to pen the fourth. Personally I don't think Kirby is dead. Sidney was stabbed twice and lived, and don't get me started on Dewey.

I know what you mean about Kirby thinking back. The stabbing wasn't as brutal as some so she she could've lived. I would've liked to have know though!! lol She seemed a tough cookie anyway so heres hoping

Just back from seeing it, overall I didnt mind it, I enjoyed the opening, and some of the deaths where good, however I felt a tad dissopinted in the end. I say its my least favourite in the series, but still a enjoyable outing.

I think maybe it was because the one charcater I liked died

However the other one I liked lived

The rest I dindt care much for.

Yeah I noticed that too, like in the trailer when gail and ghostface are in the barn she says to him/her to "take their best shot", but that wasent in the film.
