So last night I finished watching Big Brother 5 since begining it in April 2010.

BB5 was my first series in 2004 but I couldn't remember it and decided to rewatch it.

I finished it just in time for BB11.

Although I would of loved to watch it on MrMarky, I had to turn to horrible Youtube.

I loved this series, it was amazing and IMO better than BB7 which is probably its 'competetion'.

My favourite housemates were Stuart, Jason, Michelle, Dan, Victor and Marco.

I didn't like Ahmed, Becky.

Tbh I didn't want Nadia to win and I don't get why the crowd were roaring for her and loved her so much she wasn't that entertaining, IMO someone more entertaining should of won this epic series.


I loved the Jungle Cats, we need more game players like that.

The twists and tasks were amazing and this series literally had me laughing so hard at some moments.


Big Brother 5 deserves its title as one of the best series.

Ah good, in the process of downloading it atm. Currently on episode 12 after starting last night, worked it out I can fit 2 weeks on a disc and then I can play them on the TV through my Xbox

My fave series and I agree BB7 was probably it's competition. BB6 was supposed to be more about the fun side but with a hitn of evil whereas BB7's twisted theme was to make it harsher again but perhaps was too harsh with it's choice of HMs mental health issues i.e. Lea, Niki, Shahbaz

I was a Nadia fan and glad she won. i think it's got the "I want to be accepted" factor Brian BB2 had, they fact she was the last of the lipgloss bitches and I thought she was very funny. Her cigarette rant, 'lady garden' "Lay one on her lips" comment, fighting Michelle for the bouquet to name a few

I'm watching it right now and am shocked to say it may even be better than BB7. It is literally constant, non-stop entertainment where there is never a dull moment. Every single housemate is super entertaining and interesting.

It's a very very wild season though. So much nudity and sex and fights! I have never seen anything like it.

Right now i'm still: BB7 > BB5 > BB10 > BB8 > BB9 > BB11

But I haven't even gotten to Fight Night yet so BB5 will probably end up surpassing BB7 for me.

I thought some parts of BB5 were quite boring.

Like the week Becki arrived. I thought that was so uninteresting! BB6 was better ; it just had entertainment non-stop.

I also believe Jason should have won. The biggest percentage of voters will definitely be female and a large chunk of them young, at that, so you can see why Nadia won. Jason and Victor, at one point, just sat in their beds all day, which sounds quite boring but the chats they had were so funny and their reluctance to mingle just caused friction, great viewing. Jason, Ahmed and Victor! Stuart can piss off, no way he can be tagged a Jungle Cat, Chicken Stu sitting around with Michelle all day, nailing her twice, disgusting.

Just started getting into the series through the DVDs I have. Forgot how awesome this series really was. These HMS weren't scared to let anything out and BB were not backing down either. Great series, just watched a bit when Stu took the baby alarm a bit disturbing and went to BB and they said "no babies were harmed in the recording" lol

Loved this series but bb6 was my favourite series ever! They argued so much , i think makosi made bb6 for me

This was a great series but I wouldn't say the best or even Top 2. It has some amazing moments but also some very dull and boring weeks that brought it down. The first 2 weeks with Emma were 2 of the best weeks in BB history, but after she left it went downhill a bit. It peaked again though when the Military task began.

No way in hell should Jason have won. He was completely boring and unsocial the last few weeks. In fact, he was boring ever since Vanessa left and just became a party pooper who never got in on the fun. He did nothing to deserve to win.

I couldn't imagine anyone else winning BB5 besides Nadia (except for maybe Michelle or Victor but they both ****ed it up for themselves on their final weeks and the public turned on them). She deserved it.

My favorites were Emma, Marco, Shell, Nadia, Victor, and Michelle (except she became extremely annoying on her last week).

I still have a week left to watch though, I just finished Michelle's eviction.

Next I will watch BB6!

Right now my ranking is...

BB7 > BB10 > BB5 > BB8 > BB9 > BB11

[I'm tempted to put BB8 in 3rd ahead of BB5 but I think that would start a riot on here haha. BB8 is the most underrated series ever IMO]

I've honestly liked & enjoyed every season though, apart from BB11 which was medicore and borderline plain bad (but it still had it's great moments and it gave me Corin).

I don't plan on watching 1, 2, or 4 since they seem boring but I might watch BB3.

I think I will end up having the same ranking as you but switch BB11 with BB8.
