I have this weird thing where I view forks as females, knives as the attractive slim males and spoons as the larger but loveable males, so when i'm doing dishes I have to have a fork with a knife together or fork with a spoon.

I also hate to see anything of a group alone. May it be a bit off a chopped carrot to a cotton bud. If I see a cotton bud alone I have to either join it with another in the bin or put it somewhere where it won't feel like it's lonely.

Oh my god im so weird

I can be a bit similar to that, but more with eating food. I can't eat like 3 potatoes then let the fourth one go to waste even if I'm really full because... I guess I feel bad for it... but it's a ****ing potato.

Oh what's wrong with us? I do that with chips or batter to be honest. I leave one chip in the oil or put it aside and i'm like, i'll eat your village but run free..save yourself! I blame cartoons for making all sorts of things talk and act.

My colleague, young girl who recently moved into a new flat said she could hear a young couple downstairs arguing in at middle of the night.

It worries me, the NOISE, as I am thinking of downsizing my property and live in a flat.

I love living in my flat but it's true, when neighbours are being noisy it can be very annoying - hopefully you will be lucky with your neighbours if you move into a flat!

Well, I better be careful, not playing music loud in the evening.
I specially love dance music like this.

I ended a four year friendship because said friend started a chain of events that seriously turned my life upside down, I'm not regretting the decision but I'm wondering if that was the right thing to do?

Well, he used to be in my group of friends at school but quickly isolated himself from the other guys by being bitchy and impossible to hang out with; I have a lot of patience and don't like to abandon people in their hour of need so I've always remained friends with him but have always had this thought in the back of my head that one day, he might do something that will affect my life in some way in the future, and finally that day came. I think we could have easily continued to be friends, but he essentially started a rumour that I was seeing someone (and I am now - but because of the rumour, isn't that funny?) and it really hit me quite hard, I've never been subject to that kind of negative attention before and I dunno, my instinct was to just cut ties with that person because it's never happened to me before. Was I right to do that? IDK. :/

hard to say without knowing the details really, but it must have been something you thought was pretty serious and you seem like a sensible person

Absolutely. Anyone who would do that to you is not really a friend Greg, hopefully he will learn something about the way he treats people from it

I said as much to him, he tried to contact me by text and Facebook comment a couple of times and then eventually caught me on chat and I finally replied to him and had a civil conversation where I told him I'd rather not hang out with him for a while, as I don't appreciate what he's done and despite his claims that it wasn't his intention to start a rumour (which I think it was but never mind, he'd never admit to it) I still wouldn't be able to ignore it for a long time. As far as I'm concerned, the matter's been resolved (in the sense that I've said what I needed to say) and the door's still open to become friends again in future, but I really don't think I want that.

well, you weren't nasty to him but you said what you needed to, I think you handled it well and better than most would. But yeah, if you can't feel comfortable with him or trust him then there's no point really

Theres this girl at school I really like but she has a boyfriend and they always fight and he treats her like absolute rubbish (e.g. talking **** about her, pushing her into things) but she takes it as a joke. Its like the saying: 'treat em mean, keep em keen' is working and i just want to be like you deserve better and stuff.

Me and my friend have a plan to break them up though so I can try my luck but firstly I'm scared of admitting it to her and I feel bad for trying to break them up. And even if I do break them up I will probably get rejected anyway. So I don't know what to do.

(extra: the guy she is dating is a complete dick to me already so it might be fun to throw something back in his face)

Go for it Charlie - the worst she can say is "no" then you can move-on and see someone else.

It is easy for me to say as an oldie, but I tell you the truth. Been there, done it at your age but not the t-shirt.

A girl I know from school (I'm 45 now) she was sweet to me- wish I'd done it as she is now a millionare with 2 houses - damn blast!!!

Thanks for the advice. I'm leaving the school so I think I'm going to try my luck, otherwise I probably would just settle for being friends as I usually do.
I will probably wait for a party and try get some liquid courage. Ahh scary though, I'm a complete pussy when it comes to this kind of stuff.

All people are at your age pal - I remember I was. Not too much alcohols or you will look an idiot is my only advice - tell what is in yer heart. It will either work or no - if a no then you can move on

Best wishes + good luck
