Absolutely right. Those who have never had a child have no idea how powerful and overwhelming a bond it can be, and if it were me, i would be bombarding the press and other media persistently and forever to keep my missing child in the news, in the hope that someone, somewhere might be able to provide even the tiniest clue.

To suggest that Maddie's parents are doing this for personal gain is a scurrilous, offensive and totally unfounded accusation.
