Woah; I thought Japan was the cleanest country ever - maybe Singapore was the second up until March this year when Japan became a mess.

I agree though about the Gum on the pavements, I'm use to it now though when I'm in town - it's literally like the Gum was part of the pavement originally LOL.

I liked Hubba Bubba too. But yeah I agree with some of the comments. The taste hardly lasted. If I chew gum now it would be Mint Extra where the taste lasts longer.

Singapore can be amazing and can be horrid. Its amazing nightlife, city, shops, food, and safety (so like no one has curfews). But its horrible because expat kids are the bitchiest in the world and you seem like your locked in a bubble sometimes as its so small. It's like the same size as london and will take like an hour/hour and a half to drive from one side of the country to the other.

It can also get so boring thats why like everyone resorts to underage clubbing and drinking and plus everyone looks old enough to get into clubs compared to the tiny asian bouncers.

It is, you know at school how you get so much attention from gum. over here its like that times 1000. But i constantly smuggle loads in through my suitcase.

Laws are so strict here, and its literally like a BB country. Everything is watched and everything is monitored even internet and stuff. Like porn and stuff is blocked island wide from like the popular sites.

Some are some aren't but the social hierarchy and ass licking/pretending to be someone your not is madness. I know about 2 people that i could actually be sure were genuine. Im not like that anymore though, i was in year 10 but i changed due to certain things/experiences that ****ed me up (but made me a better person).

None of the people i know actually follow the laws though. Ive so many times walked past police men and hi-fived them whilst being drunk and nothing has happened. Like the singapore government dont want to upset foreign countries thats why like foreign people dont get the death penalty like proper singaporeans (we can get away with loads compared to sing people). Drugs have immediate death penalty and shop lifters get the cane and prison and sometimes hands cut off. Expats get deported for both.

To be honest i have no idea. But yea its horrible, but there is little crime and it doesn't happen often so it does work. I do love the safety though like walking around at 3am is so fun here, in england id **** myself.
