The article got it right, he wrote a book in the 80s about the possibility of the existence of a deity. But it doesn't matter anyway this is his opinion. Just like all the other beliefs and statements are opinions.

Nice mention of his disability, must get that one in.

As one of the greatest living geniuses though I think there's a little more weight behind the opinion. That, erm, thing called science.

Again this is still all irrelevant when heaven is still a manmade notion. There is no proof for it. In that sense it's still believing in something that there is no reason to believe in, mostly out of fear. I think agnostics are just using indecision or "omg we'll never know" as an excuse to refrain from the harsh truth.
