Indifferent.
Generally a pretty nice person, but she lacked much in the way of personal integrity and challenged the villains in the house only when it was her own arse on the line (for example Richard, a misogynist who disliked Imogen for her popularity). Contrast this with Aisleyne who made enemies by challenging the vile Grace.
Since assertiveness in women is still viewed with distrust by many people, this didn't affect Imogen's popularity.

No matter that they act like senile 12-year-olds on the Today programme website - smoking illegal fags to look tough and cool. No matter that Amis coins truly abominable terms like 'the age of horrorism' and when criticised tells people to 'fuck off'. Surely we all chuckle at the strenuous ennui of his salon drawl. Didn't he once accidentally sneer his face off?
