Adele will have the biggest album.
I prefer Lady Gaga though. I do think Adele is obviously more talented and a better singer. But at the moment don't like listening to depressing songs which Adele sings. |

The world total so far for 21 is...
4.28 million. It seems to be even gaining stronger momentum worldwide. Especially in the US where her song just being covered rocketed it to #1 on itunes. She's rumoured to be making an appearance on the show herself soon which could really see sales soar. Can't see Gaga competing with this album when it could have a 6-7 mill lead. I see 21 selling strong throughout the year and then even being re-packaged for christmas.

Adele has sold an amazing 5.7 million of 21 so far and is selling over 300k weekly worldwide! In US she spends 9th week at no1 and has been certified dbl platinum(2mill). Longest stint at no1 since George Michaels Faith for UK artist in US. And RITD is still no1 having sold a whopping 2.7 mill singles. Its also still just the first single from the album! This album just has no ceiling and is already 3mill sales ahead of its nearest rival(Rihanna) this year. Worldwide its actually gaining in momentum. And she's announced on stage that she has just received a complimentary email from the woman herself...Lady Gaga.
