A Kat free episode at last, used to be such a big fan but even before this ruined baby saga started she was bitter and treated Alfie like dirt.. even though Kat is a big part of his popularity and he wouldn't have been as popular without her IMO.

Ronnie and Jack got back together 'offically' tonight when she snogged him and gave him his wedding ring back to wear

Jim got taken to a care home after Dot had a sort of breakdown and hit the bottle. She ran around the Square asking her neighbours for treacle and telling everyone to forgive those they love. Jim left tonight

As far as I can recall nothing. Not seen them together since.

There was in incident where Dot (during her mad spell) was in the pub and saw Kat. She was blathering on in her drunken confused state that Kat should forgive. That she (Dot) herself had done bad things (had an abortion) but that sometimes bad things happen. Kat was disgusted with her and Dot went home to carry on going potty

I think Kat will eventually realise just how psychologically damaged Ronnie is and will find it in her heart to forgive but won't forget. EastEnders wanted to portray the breakdown Ronnie has suffered from after all this trauma in her life so the only way she can leave is to have psychological treatment.

That's what they wanted to put across and it's why even though she goes on trial soon I think the judge will be understanding given the circumstances.

I'd certainly say she needs a punishment. What she did I could never ever forgive. But she needs serious help too.

It would still be a punishment because she's in a secure unit, although there has been cases where people have escaped and done something horrific.

I'm just annoyed she's in the square. As if any court in the land would bail her to a few doors away from Tommy
