Now, 1st place I think gets you straight through to CL group stages, 2nd gets you EL final qualifying round and 3rd place gets you EL 3rd qualifying round, not totally sure about the 2nd paragraph though.
Thanks, it makes sense now.

Absolute nightmare against Wednesday. As if it wasn't to be bad enough on the derby days

If anyones bored, this is quite a good read, 50 ways to improve world football

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/6...world-football

Disagree that you should be given a number on matchday, what about fans that buy shirts? And it would cost a bomb for clubs to make new shirts each week

Mass brawl next season, not as bad as West Ham vs Millwall will be.

I think a move to the MLS would be good for Riordan but I suppose he's got a girlfriend and a wee lad so he won't want to move to America.

I heard Blackburn were in for him but I don't think he'd do a job for them. I'm thinking he'd be best suited at a mid-table/bottom half Championship side, someone like Middlesborough or Coventry.

What does everyone think about David Vaughan? Rangers are interested but didn't really notice him much last season.

I feel sorry if you are a ST holder

But can I just say thanks to West Ham for ruling the possibility of him ever coming to Villa

If he's a footballing genius I'm Johann Cruyff

His last promotion was 11 years ago and that was through the playoffs..

He's been managing in the Premiership that time though, he did really well with Bolton and then he was doing a decent job at Newcastle until they had a couple of poor results and he was unfairly sacked. Blackburn sacked him for no reason as well, that was ridiculous. He's a good manager, better than anyone I expected to have tbh, we could have had someone like Dave Jones or Chris Hughton

Well we'll have to wait and see I guess, I have complete faith in Big Sam

Then again, I also had complete confidence in Avram right up until the end of the season

I would have much preferred Chris Hughton to manage us, but I'm willing to give Allardyce a chance, I still think we'll go straight back up next season

Hang on a minute.. I thought Big Sam was holding out for the Madrid job?

"I’m not suited to Bolton or Blackburn, I would be more suited to Inter or Real Madrid. It wouldn’t be a problem to me to go and manage those clubs because I would win the double or the league every time."

Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield was recovering in hospital on Tuesday evening after suffering a seizure.

The 31-year-old was admitted to Glasgow's Southern General hospital on Monday and his condition has been described as stable.

According to the Daily Mail, Langfield will undergo fresh tests on Wednesday morning with results due at the end of the week to clarify the problem.

Skysports.com understands Wigan and Rangers have made moves to land highly-rated Spanish striker Toche.

Toche is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Segunda Liga side Cartagena.

The 28-year-old has scored 32 goals in under 60 games for Cartagena and his performances have not gone unnoticed from clubs across Europe.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is believed to have made a personal check on Toche, while Rangerschief Ally McCoist is scouring the transfer market for bargain signings.

Primera Liga outfit Villarreal are thought to have expressed an interest in Toche, while a number of Serie A and Portuguese Liga Sagres sides are believed to be keen on signing the target-man.

However, Toche is thought to favour a move to the UK and is waiting to see what offers come his way this summer.
