That is what seperates the great BB housemates from the bad. It isn't the same thing.

I can compare - as it is how I personally see the situation, for the reasons I have already mentioned. You may of course disagree, which you clearly do, but that does not mean that your statment of, "You can't compare" is the carte blanche response.

What is your point though mate? Actors are told "AND ACTION" and when to start talking to film a scene. Big Brother on the other hand is different. The housemates in terms of just normal conversations aren't told when to talk. It just happens.

That doesn't mean editing doesn't happen, of course it does. You can't have it being live for 24/7 on Channel 4 as it would be beyond boring and no one would watch it.

Read my previous posts. Therefore it is not what it was intended to be. It is maniupulated. It is edited to the viewer in favour of the slant that the producers wish the programme to follow - in an effort to entice viewers. It may not be scriped verbatim, but it most certainly is not aired without much influence from the programme makers. Thus it is not entirely. It is tweaked, pulled and nipped within an inch of it's life of the true version. As we hear from the vast majority of those who have taken part as contestants - when the come out of the house - they often try to explain that 'it wasnt quite like that / that's not what happened in truth' ... because it is edited to suit the programme makers. It is done so in an effort to entice viewers with maniupulated edits - that do not show all - or show it as it really 'was'.

The viewer is given a distorted vision - and not the clear cut, full version.

ps. The name is Pyramid*. not 'mate'. Cheers!

You are right. But that is down to the editors and the makers of Big Brother.. not the housemates themselves. Unlike TOWIE where the characters have a proper script. In BB the housemates don't have a script but the producer and editors do

Oh I understand quite succinctly the finite details. It doesn't detract from the fact that regardless: BB does follow a script - albeit one that is designed/engineering and steered by the programme makers and editors.

MATE (not pyramid) can you accept we are talking about an actual SCRIPT where people are told what to say like they are in TOWIE.

This is what we do not want

STICK TO THE THREADS POINT

Yeah but that's not the housemates fault. Unlike in TOWIE when the lights of Amy Childs, Sam, Mark, Arg and whoever know exactly what they are doing.

The housemates in BB don't know what is edited or not. Because some of them are shocked when they come out of BB. Because BB doesn't film a full on argument or both sides of the story. They pick a "chosen" one who is favourite and favours their edits.

I don't think Josie expected to win until she was in the final 5.

I don't know what PEJ was thinking when they decided to give a free pass. The majority of twists seem stupid. If they left all that rubbish then we would have had a decent final. And Corin and Sam would have been the final 2.

BB needs to leave the housemates to their own devices. Give them plenty of food, booze and parties. Therefore the hms will have such a good time that they don't want to leave.

This is why in the early series of BB it was more compeitive because hms didn't want to go home because they were having a good time. They were treat like adults and not like kids with teeny parties with 2 bottles of wine to share between 14 people!! Ridiculous!!!

Over recent years, those who chose to go on the show are well aware of the manipulation, of the tweeking, and of how the producers etc will force (put over) what THEY want -and they (the contestants) will act out a fake persona as they are more than aware of this fact.

That is precisely my point.

Don't suppose you woud possibly like to post something that remotely comes close to the topic - rather than simply being rude and facetious on a personal level?

24/7 Live Feed. Down-to-earth, genuine HM's. Tons of booze.

That'll do nicely
