I suppose with BB10 it's personal opinion. I think I'm in the minority that thought BB9 was actually a good series, not the best, but was a step back in the right direction but I thought BB10 dropped the ball. Tacky HMs on launch, the Day 4 bus ride eviction and that ******ing awful credit crunched house.

BB6 was amazing but I think it gets overlooked because it was sandwiched between the favourites, BB5 and 7. I thought BB6 was a lot better than BB7 tbh.

It's porbbaly because a lot of the forum members around now started watching it around then and a few people consider it the last great series before CBB5. IMO it started off well, actualyl gave the fans more HMs and a longer run like they'd wanted and finally delivered the house next door fans wanted plus the golden ticket thing created a great buzz at the time. Problem was the first 5 weeks were amazing but then half the HMs had left by then and the HND HMs didn;t really bring more life to it, they just sort of made it feel like it was back to square one. And then the Nikki goign bakc in twist killed it for me.

I believe a 13 week series can work if it's planned properly.

I think what I liked about BB11 was that the HMs were much more like the BB1-5 lot in that they were actually 'normal' and in for the experience while the tasks were still on the BB5/6 level. The problem was the HMs were reoprimanded just for raising their voices so no real arguments actually happened and the lack of booze just made it childish. It had the potential to be amazing.

Daniel Lewis started uploading BB6 so I would SO recommend it! I consider BB6 to be the first series with 'abnormal' people and wannabes but they were allowed to get away with more and it was a great follow-up to the brilliant BB5.

The BB11 Housemates were NOT normal
It was the first series, actually second [BB10 was worst] that on the launch I was like 'Woah, what a bunch of utter freaks.'

I honestly thought "What the actual ******!?!?!" when some of the BB11 HMs entered but I think if you take away the costumes some of them wore (and remember Mario's couldn't be helped) and ignore that Steve had his legs and an eye missing you'll see they were actually just normal people. Steve was just a normal guy, a 40 somethign year old dad who just happened to have no legs, while Dave didn't actually strut around in his monk costume the whole time and Corin represents a number of girls in this day and age that like their fake tans and drawn-on eyebrows. Times were different in BBs 1-5 but I think she is 'the normal' for 2010. Shabby and Sam Pepper are pehaps the 2 people that most stand out as actual wacky characters who constantly kept their appearances up (Shabby with her hat, Sam and his cap and hoodies) and were both strong almost hyper-realistic characters the way they saught attention

Tbh very honest with you

BB4, was absoutly horrible lacked everything needed in a big brother series

BB8, One of the worst series apart from BB4

BB10, I didn't really warm to it although I watched it
