Besides we are talking television terms. The culture says August is slap bang in the middle of summer. You even started a thread the other day heralding the start of summer even though it started two months ago.

Summer started in May you tit. At least in seasonal terms. You can go by weather patterns too I guess but isin't that the point I'm making? Getting all hysterical and calling someone a ***** because they said the middle of summer was in August? Technically it's not even in August.
