In BBs 1-4 (particularly BB1 and 2) the 'character' of BB was pretty robotic and stern but was always there to suggest advice and help HMs when they were feeling down.

BB5 was when BB became harsher, evil and jokey (Stu's hat!) but still managed to comfort HMs when they really got wound up and distressed. BB6 onwards is when BB was more light-hearted and quite contradictory

The Scottish Big Brother was a legend though - the one every one got along with, he was there since like BB7.

I love when the housemates start naming the voices like 'Sally' 'Sharon' 'Rachel'.

And then from watching Live Feed non-stop all Summer you then by the end of August know who they were talking to in the Diary Room even though you didn't see it.

Yeah but the whole point of a Diary Room is to open up in there.
