8th is not far better than 11th...its just 3 places. And, really, if you don't actually win then all other placings mean nothing.
And actually fyi Blue's song did far better in European charts; Top 10 in 7 countries compared to Jedwards Top 10 in just 3 countries. In the UK and Germany(the 2 biggest markets) Blue reached 14 and 7 respectively. Jedward 40 and 12 respectively. So lets stick to the facts.
And just to yet again show that they are nowhere near as popular in the UK as you fans like to claim, just spotted this;
the p&p must be worth more than £1 so HMV are virtually paying people to take them
