I'm but that sounds like the complete opposite of TIBB and as if people applying need somewhere that stimulates them. Therefore why would you apply in the first place if you didn't agree with 'the purpose of Mensa'.

Yes, because what people need is to be constantly crammed with information without ever receiving a bloody break.
Members of MENSA do not come here for "stimulation purposes; they come here for relief. You
cannot expect people to be exposed to a world that knows only mathematics, English and reasoning: surely, those people deserve some sort of break, don't they?
