I was in the audience last night and I can assure you no such thing happened.
I've got to admit that I was a little surprised that there wasn't more booing for KK, but I suppose her going in first was a very big factor in this.
They have really changed the layout for the house exterior this year. The audience is kind of split and shepherded in in small groups (compared to last year) and packed a lot closer together. This makes it near impossible for pockets of support/anti-support to congregate. It's very difficult to get a chant or a boo going when other like-minded people are scattered around. Mrs Southblue was looking forward to giving KK a boo, but even she applauded Kerry - the group pressure being too strong for her to feel confident enough to show individuality (being very close to the catwalk and in Kerry's direct line of sight didn't help either).
You've also got to remember that after spending 6 - 8 hours waiting in the pouring rain, people were just happy for the rain to stop and the show to begin (both events happening pretty much simultaneously) and a lot of the enthusiasm was directed towards this and the general excitement of a new CBB beginning.
For the record, I was personally pleased that KK got a decent reception - I believe every new HM deserves a fair chance (though I don't really want to re-open that debate!)
