He could have just rebounded the situation by saying...'well you tell us what you said when you came in the bedroom'....she would then know that Jay knew but did not want to make her feel bad and that he knew full well what she had said....that then puts her into that uncomfortable place.
She put him in an awkward position...he should have done the same to her. |
