I don't like when people make that comparison. The pop fluff in the eighties was still far better and it's not as if virtually the entire top twenty was absoloutely littered with the **** attack garbage today's charts are. The decent tunes still broke the charts back then because everyone bought singles.
I find it so bizarre that people still follow the charts. And I don't mean looking at the countdown on TV out of curiosity. I mean
really following the charts.
Anyway how dare he tarnish this hallowed ground of superior music etc.
