That's a whole world of wrong wrapped up in one message there. A stereotype, is a stereotype, is a stereotype. It's about the grouping of a whole race of people under one banner, because it's convenient. Just because this particular one is about having big dicks is irrelevant. Black people are criminals was a stereotype used for a long time. Black people are good athletes, but not very intelligent was another.

What do they all have in common? They're all stereotypes, and they're all factually inaccurate.

Not at all, it is far too simplistic a view to just sit there and say "a stereotype is a stereotype is a stereotype". That's just absolutist and has no consideration for either context or intent and when you just ignore that, that is when things get blinkered. A favourable stereotype is in no way the same as a downright insulting one, to say something along the lines of "Jewish people are often financially successful" is not the same as saying something like "they are thieving money grabbers" and to try and create some kind of equivilancy between the two statements would just be wrong

Like I said: context and intent. In this case the context was Jay quoting a movie line among some friends and the intent was obviously a joking, inoffensive one. You could see how surprised he was when he was warned for his actions in the Diary Room.

You are wrong, but you're entittled to an opinion. I agree that he wasn't trying to be offensive, but ignorance can't be excused, intentional or otherwise. Unless you bring ignorant statements to peoples attention, then they will never learn. It's like the person who tells a racist joke/story, then qualifies it with the phrase, "some of my best friends are black."

That's called inherent racism, it is done without intent to harm, or offend, but shows that the person is not quite up to date with using language that most people would deem suitable.

Ok I can see your point, but I still think it's important to consider the context and the intent behind these situations instead of just passing it off as racist stereotyping
