I did not find Harry's joke to be funny or amusing, not to mention it's already been done before by a REAL legend, Rex. If I was in the house I would be absolutely LIVID, because nobody messes with my food so I completely understand where Jay is coming from.

Actually Harry ordered everyone's individual requests and the ordered the bananas, chocolates (which everyone ALWAYS begs for), cereal (a perfectly good meal), milk & apple juice, and food colouring. They can survive PLUS we all know that BB will do things where they'll have parties where alcohol and food will be provided.

I'm off of Jay after tonight. He threw away food and he STOMPED on bananas! Spitfully destroyed perfectly good bananas and then said he feels, just out of spite, like he wants to throw all the food away so EVERYONE can starve.

Harry was aware everyone was going to find out though and he still went ahead and did it.. when Jay did the the ketchup prank he never told Harry it was him and even denied it when Harry asked if it was him

I hadn't realised Jay denied it but surely it's the actual act that matters, would it have been any better if Jay had announced it to the house and then done it right in front of Harry, a joke is a joke and given that he has done a very similar thing Harry should be able to see that imo

Harry didn't make any excuses for his prank though he just took all the abuse he got for it on the chin and got on with it.. Jay did the prank and then let Aden and Anton take the blame for it without saying a word... and they all think they are friends

I have to agree - what Jay did was malicious and spiteful.

To throw perfectly good food away, would hurt the whole house. He even chucked the sugar away, so that the likes of Tom who was stealing the tea bags couldnt even get a cuppa. I mean that was bad enough BUT to wilfully ruin someones clothes is bang out of order and lets all face it, he didn't do it as a prank did he? He did it because "he needs food" like some Neanderthal and can't control his "protein enhanced" ranges

Both are in the wrong. Harry should have realised that ALL housemates apart from him and Aaron put effort into the task so the shopping budget was everyone's. It was clear that some people would get annoyed by the fact that the 500 quid that they earned had gone on bananas and food colouring. The way Jay reacted however was completely inappropriate. He ignored the fact that them bananas would be feeding the house for the next week. And the ketchep thing is just spiteful, especially after himself and harry had seemed to resolve their differences.

Vandalising an individual's personal property is considered to be criminal damage. On the outside, Jay could have been prosecuted. In no way, shape or form is it justified. He should have been ejected from the house for that.

A prank is one thing, malicious damage is another, and Jay is just a spiteful, aggressive thug, a cowardly one at that when he couldn't even take ownership of what he'd done. It's not really that much of a surprise to me that a lot of people who support this neanderthal can't see the difference

Good point that I think a lot of those who are on Jay's side are missing. They didn't just get bananas. They all got their individual requests + enough of other stuff to easily survive the week.

I think with his aggression and the freezer incident then this should have been the last straw with Jay on BB too.

You are right, he most certainly could have got into bother on the outside for what he risked with Harry's clothes.He should have gone nowhere near that bath while his clothes were in it let alone risk damaging them.

I was being honest in my first post; I do like Harry, but I found his hissy fit massively hypocritical given his attempts with Aaron to sabotage the task which would have affected their shopping budget, and then deliberately messing up the shopping list.

It was Aaron who was breaking toys that had been assembled by housemates who had worked hard to win that task. I don't believe for one second that anyone here would be happy if they'd been in the house and had spent hours assembling those toys only for Aaron to smash them up?

So it's interesting that there are posters on here who can't see the hypocrisy of Harry spitting his dummy out over being pranked back.

As said before, pranks cut both ways and he must have known that, sooner or later, someone would prank him back, and that's exactly what they did.

I think the very few pro Jay fans on here need to take a chill pill or maybe go and shave their own hoop. It's obvious from reading what they have written that Jay the thug can do no wrong in their eyes. From taking a dump in the freezer to using a cushion as harry's face to then repeatedly smash his fists into it, throwing everyone's coffee & sugar into the bin,stomping on food to destroying personal clothing.

I don't believe for one second that you don't understand the difference between 2 people knowingly having a play fight together with ketchup, and happily participating in that fun in the knowledge of what is being used - and someone deliberately and sneakily attempting to ruin somone elses personal belongings out of spite, vengeful, malice and immaturity - somewhat like a stroppy like child who doesn't get their own way.

Harry knew that his decision to play with food budget would go down poorly and was opening himself up to backlash, he knew that when he did the food budget. No one could say that people shouldn't mess with his personal belongings (though they shouldn't) it has happened in the past and it is fair game in BB.
I don't really see a side to pick here, they are both pissed off. I think it makes amazing telly, even more so because I am not picking sides of Jay vs Harry.
Those clothes were already soaking in what looked like food color dyed water, surely that would leave a stain as well.
