HHHmmmmm, one of the reasons why Aaron wanted to leave stranded task was his knee was hurting and he wanted medication. We know he's got bad knees from the Toy Task when he began to walk funny. And yet, it was made to look as if he just did a '***** the task!' with Harry. Grrrrr.

I was quite cross about his as well - they didn't show the rescuers agreeing to save Aaron then Anton changing to Faye either - very annoying.

Yep and they actually cut him off mid sentence too in H/l show. He said something like I can't stay in there anymore with my knee but they cut out the "with my knee" part

First of all why does being 30 year old have to do with anything. It doesn't get any less painful as you get older, if anything it's the reverse.

Secondly what has a man got to do with anything. Scientists have not definitely been able to answer whether women or men have greater pain threshholds, but loving you spitefulness.

I have to agree, I was pretty P*ssed with editing out Anton changing the decision to Faye at the last minute

Never get the constant reference to age either. It is irrelevant, as not matter what age, we all react differently to situations regardless, that can clearly be seen even on this forum, by some of the postings and the age of those posting and how some conduct themselves in postings, and that age makes no difference. Plus in regards to pain, some have a higher/lower pain resistance/threshold than others.

Because im an ageist sexist obviously! All he had to so was sit on the bed for a few hours.. also he chose to go to the task room in the first place not knowing if it would be a hard endurance task or not so surely if it was that painful it would have crossed his mind.

BB should have dealt with this through one of the other entrances to the task room or given him special permission to go to the DR without voiding the task.

The main point though is the constant bloody editing which leaves gaping holes in what we see, leading the public to believe the HM's are something they often are not.

I don't see why BB could have sorted out Aaron with any medication he required. Anton had every right to choose who he wanted to save IMO and think their reasons for failing the task were very lame.

Aaron has never said his wife was in agony during childbirth. She could have had an epidural and felt little pain.

Aaron didn't put his wife in a wheelchair.

Aaron has never whinged about his son ever.

It was the actual act of natural childbirth that he found upsetting and distasteful - something that it not uncommon.

None of which btw has anything to do with Aaron being in the house and needing meds for his knees.

I absolutely agree Mids, that is why I am waiting for some response/backup to that post claim. I even thought of reporting that post, as there is a sticky asking for consideration for the housemates in posts in some stances, and I think that post you have quoted oversteps the mark.

I know 2 guys who couldn't have sex with their wives afterwards - sort of that they saw the ladies in a different light - a pedastal type 'mother' view - loved them dearly but couldn't have sex with them.

(one couple divorced, the other live very unhappy lives under the same roof). Absolute shame.

And Suze, I agree with you too in respect of reporting - given that we are allowed to slag off the housemates within reason - that post is completely unacceptable imo.

Housemates are not obliged or forced to take part in tasks. If any housemates does not want to participate, or wants to abandon their task - they are quite at liberty to do so.

And let's not get into 'they are meant to work as a team' debate either - that's completely invalid as Anton chose to not follow his own team's choice of housemate to release - they wanted to release Aaron, not Faye;

Plus - Aaron didn't leave the task on his own- others made the same choice as he did.

Well, yes, It was made out on the H/ls show that he quit cos he didn't want Faye to go before him. No reason was given other than Anton wanting to separate them. When in reality, Aarons knee was playing up, he needed his medication and to be out of there, the rescuers had agreed to save him next but Anton decided to be a dick and save faye instead at the last minute. That's why they were all annoyed when it was announced by BB that Anton would be saving Faye.
