In reply to the part of my quote that you highlighted Jordan, below for ease of reference

This happens to be a discussion, an exchange on opinions, as to whether Aaron was justified to react in the way he did about food being ruined, and the house being trashed.
My point is that I disagree that Aaron did anything remotely similar, and the point of the thread is as I mentioned in the part above: to discuss why some members feel ruining good food is acceptable or not : and their reasons why they see it as they do. (ie: whether they agree with Aaron's reaction or not).

Well said InOne. I don't often agree with you (of late) but on this matter, I am 100% with you - each person has their own opinion - whether they regard what happened as right or wrong.

It's the reasons for whether people view it as right or wrong that I find interesting.
Indeed, another endless TiBB debate lol

Why? Because I - like every other member on here, including you - have as much right to voice my opinion on the matter, to voice my disgust at the hms behaviour and actively destorying perfectly good food, for no justifiable reason - and in my agreeance with Aaron's stance on the matter.
I have a question - do you not think that ordering 500 bananas is a waste of perfectly good food? Banana's go off in less than a week. Harry was applauded for doing that and Aaron egged him on. Did you go on then about food wastage?

I'd say it less 'endless', but more, that it has been an interesting and enticing enough discussion thread, that so many different posters have contributed to - by the hundreds of posts that it has received.

I do think it's pretty much come to it's conclusion in that this topic of wasting food for no good reason - is one that people either think is hilarious - or that others think is unacceptable.

Especially when many of the hms bitch like hell about being 'starving'....... next time they want a bit of energy inducing cereal and they have none...... they'll be able to think back about wasting so much.

Thing is, he was probably more bothered about the mess than the wasting of food. The house is a tip as it is.

Not at all. To make it perfectly clear - and despite it being off topic - I will address this.

500 bananas = avg 7 bananas per day. A foodstuff which can be used as it is, in milkshakes, adding to cereal, being used as a snack via banana sandwiches (which you'll recall Harry also ordered bread, cereal, and milk). Bananas can be frozen and eaten as a chilled sweet dish, they can be cooked.

7 bananas per day given all the various ways of eating them as I have described above is not a waste, as demostrated by my explanation above. At worse, they could have frozen any excess that was left over or ready to spoil.

Notwithstanding of all the above, Aaron had nothing to do with making that list up - or indeed, altering that shoppping list, therefore the point and the comparison is utterly irrelevant to Aaron and his reaction to what happened as per the original post.

Yeah I think it was the mess rather than the food tbh.

Why bring that up when it was Aaron's actions that resulted in the house being starving in the first pLace? I find your double standards mindblowing - frankly.

And quite rightly too imo - he was most likely as equally appalled by both sides of it - the disregard to perfectly good food, as well as the mess, and adding to the tip that is already the house.

They are meant to be adults InOne - and not deranged idiots - which is how precisely many of the hms act - as they did in this instance.

It's amazing how a few cans of beer down people's necks suddenly turn them into dickheads.

You asked about the banana situ and I addressed that.

What part of Aaron's actions ONLY (note:Aaron only) caused the house to be starving precisely.

As far as I recall, there were more housemates than Aaron alone who broke the 'Stranded Task', let's deal with the facts before throwing around your mindblowing findings.....

But we aren't here discussing the stranded task, that is not what the thread is about.

It is not irrelevant to Aaron as he egged Harry on and he didn't go into a prissy meltdown over it...therefore it didn't bother him. It didn't bother him because he is SELECTIVE about his ole lady Doris reactions.
The very fact that you have all the stats about banana's is very telling about your obsession with Aaron - my goodness!
I have no frosty stats but there seems to be a stack of them left.

Aaron was the one that instigated the walk out. If he hadn't suggested it, it might not have occurred to anyone. Did you watch it?

Oh yes I watched. The housemates are adults....you know, able to make up their own minds upon which actions they chose to partake in. Aaron was not responsible for ruining that task, nor did the failure of that task -due to several housemates making their own decisions, lead to destruction of foodstuff.

I didn't quite see Aaron forcing anyone against their will.

As I said, this is however NOTHING to do with this thread. At all.

I'd be very appreciative if you could stay on topic please - it is one of the forum rules, and I for one, would like to adhere to them. Thank you.

You started an amazing thread here Pyramid, everything is being pulled into it now but only as to any chance to get at Aaron though.

I think there was more value of food ruined in the highlights last night than at other times.
As far as I am concerned, the moment that began,I would not have been able to stop myself saying how ridiculous I thought it was.

I hate mess like that all over the place, I also hate to see good food wasted.
That was your point of this thread, pointing out that Aaron was right to be mad at that just as you were too.

How it's descended into a get at Aaron and his fans free for all amazes me.I really admire your trying to keep it on topic.

Good luck with that, in an off topic comment myself though I am glad that I am likely to be away for a few days from Wednesday, hopefully back the week after.
I wouldn't be surprised to see then this thread still going and being used for to get at Aaron and his fans though.Thankfully still, the majority of the voting public for BB clearly support Aaron though too.I think they will on this issue as well.
