I know Brian is seen as a BB legend but I don't really liking him hosting the show. There is no sense of excitement at the interviews and his autocue style is really stilted.

Brian is doing a fantastic job imo, it's his first series and he's getting better and better as time goes on. I'm pretty sure if you went back to BB1 you'd notice a difference in Davina too

Remembering Kerry

I actually think his interviews are far better than Davina's in the last 2 to 3 series, I also like Brian and think he has worked.
He'll be far better next year though when he can add more of his own stamp on BB, I think anyway. Last edited by joeysteele; 17-10-2011 at 03:26 PM. |

R.I.P. Kerry

He's not on long enough for me to form much of an opinion.

I don't like his voice when he is shouting out the links in the main show, but I do like his housemate interviews.

As a gay person myself, I'm a bit dissapointed at that comment... not every gay man is camp... just like many straight people can be camp...
I know I'm far from camp, Brian does need to tone down just a little bit, his flirting with Jemma's boyfriend was cringeworthy. |

Oh I know he is joking, personally I love his campness, like Niamh said, it's about right, if he was Louis Spence i-fied I'd be annoyed, he's a joke... but I just thought he was a bit cringe... at times, he'll improve though.

Lesbians seems to have less stereotypes than gay men eg no one really thinks all lesbians are butch any more etc. But gay men seem to be portrayed in same way, that's why it was cool when that cricketer Stephen Davies came out last year.

This should be about Brian as a presenter, his sexuality should not even come into it

I agree with this and with Niamh, he has just the right amount of campness, as does Alan Carr, I don't find it over the top..I think it compliments his presenting
