She was telling Faye that she thought he was playing a game and to be careful that he isn't playing her basically,she was putting doubts there again and She just did what she accused Aaron of, making drama for no reason but messing with someone else.

In fairness to Jem, Faye is her sister and she is looking out for her like siblings usually do. Nothing out of the ordinary there.

I don't think it's the same thing tl be honest, Jem is her sister and knows what Faye has been through, she has apparently had her heart broke and Aaron is very similar to her ex according to Jem, it would be very unusual if a big sister did not show concern for the younger sister in that situation, Faye should just remember her very recent letter from her mum where shes told "to say hi to Aaron for me" which should help ease her mind, still Jem isn't doing anything a big sister or best friend wouldn't do
