Faye's mum should have nominated someone else she's trying to control Faye's life. Her mum would've known exactly what Jem was doing to her in there whispering in her ears telling fibs about Aaron, and by nominating Aaron her mum is justifying Jem's hate as being valid in Faye's eyes.

For Faye to now trust Aaron she now has to go directly against her sister and her mother! I know when I was 20 there's no way I'd have been strong enough or clear enough in my head to deal with that
