Yes that's a good point..The only thing that appears to show us is that she's more bothered about Jem's feelings than Faye's. Maybe she nominated Aaron to make Jem feel better.

She said 'Sorry Faye' after she nominated him too.. that's says a lot as she herself knew the damage it would do to Faye so felt the need to apologise imo
