Well a 45 year old can name a boyband member... robbie williams... and erm... erm... nope thats it

That said I know 30 year olds who don't have a clue who keith moon was!

As for the topic, nothing wrong with it I guess but frankly it says nothing about his actual taste in music, whatever they would have picked he'd have said he disliked it and pulled his passive agressive crap when he didn't get his own way.... thankfully the others seem to be working out how to respond to passive agression of that nature... totaly ignore it.

I know loads of men over 30 who love boybands, mind you they don't have wives or girlfriends.

But is another reason why I like Aaron, he's not a typical person or a BB seen-it-all-before cliche which is what all the other HMs are:

Faye Kate Lawler/ Nadia/
Jay Antony Hutton/ Charlie Drummond BB10/ Liam BB8
LouiseSophie Read-Rachel Rice
Tom Every gay/bi male: Marco/ Kemal/ Richard Bb7/ Dan bb5
Alex brian bello/ early Jade Goody/ Helen BB2

I take you didn't like the Beatles then, each to there own i say, wouldn't do to all be the same. Wouldn't you go to the O2 if there were boy bands on.

Nothing wrong with it imo really, people can like what music they like no matter what age they are.

None of my male friends or my boyfriends have liked boybands and my social group is 25-40. However 2 of my female friends do have boyfriends that openly admit to liking boybands- they are both in their late 30's (and we do take the mick out of them!) but, hey, each to their own

Peoples taste in music is a personal thing, I don't think it's fair to say what he can and cannot like.

Yep my gay brother , my boss (practically dragged his girlfriend to see take that!) and one married friend. Boybands appeal to all types and ages, that's why they are money making machines!

What a stupid thread. 30 year old men (or 90 year old men for that matter) are entitled to like any music they want. It is very stereotypical to suggest otherwise.
As a rule, I don't particularly like boy bands but if I was stuck in a house like that and was looking for something fun and light hearted to break the monotony, I would probably opt for something cheesy that everyone would know like boy band stuff. Doesn't mean to say he is a "fan" as such. And I really don't think there was anything tactical going on in his mind.

All the Aaron-baiting is getting somewhat tiresome.

Give the guy a break!!!

The funniest thing about this thread is that people actually think Aaron likes boybands!

He does like boy bands tho - he already stated back at the start of BB that boybands was his preferred choice when it comes to music.

I think it's perfectly feasible that he does like them, I doubt he's saying to try and get votes

@OP so what if he likes Highschool Musical and westlife, he is still hands down the most entertaining HM bar none. Also worth remembering he has a son who is 6, this probably colours his musical tastes somewhat. But actually so what if he didnt. Honestly some people are so shallow judging others on their musical taste...

As for this idea he is lying, well thats laughable, if he is lying about his entire personality, he is just about the most intelligent man whos ever lived. He has since day 1, segregated himself, been selfish at times, been in a fiery relationship, not got on well with the majority of the house, moped around and been miserable, not joined in with the so called 'normal' antics (like frostie throwing)

NOT ONE THING he has done since hes been there is something that anyone would have guessed would make him popular. Thats why when he was first up (and even the next time) the HMs were so amazed he stayed. He was beating people in evictions who did just about anything they could to ingratiate the public to them. So if he is playing a game from day 1 then he probably deserves to win even more cause not only has he tricked the house, but also second guessed that the public would break with tradition and keep a segregated 'miserable' loner in the house.
