I think some posters need to understand that I think many of us would be posting exactly the same if it had been Aden or Rebeckah or any other HM who had won and Aaron's mother or brother had been saying things about them being hated so much they had death threats. That's just wrong and there is absolutely no reason to bask in that - like they've won some popularity contest because their son/daughter/brother etc didn't get threats or weren't boo'd.

Just because it's Aaron does not mean our views on situations are skewed you know.

I sometimes wonder whose view is more skewed - Aaron lovers or Aaron haters!

Splitting the other 50k between them would take more time to achieve, and it wasn't a one on one, 'shake hands on a deal agreement' between 2 people like it was with Jay and Aaron. Remember too, that it was Aaron who instigated both his agreement with Jay and the sharing of the 50k between the HM's.

If Aaron doesn't honour his agreement with Jay, I wouldn't be surprised, as I always thought he was faking it by always banging on about his principles to get votes and the money. If Alex doesn't keep to her word, I will be very disappointed in her, but at least she didn't set herself up as above everyone else when it comes to morals and values.

Josie - she wasn't a fav of mine at all, far from it but I remember reading somewhere that Steve had already got funds for his legs sorted, and she donated the money instead to a charity for the disabled.

You cannot argue with the fact he was booed. He was. He know that, we know that and jay's mum knows that. Jay was cheered which she was proud of. What mother wouldn't be proud as punch seeing their child being cheered and loved by the public??

The death threats are disgusting but there is nothing wrong with her mentioning them.

It's Monday today so that means if he was fully booked from 9 - 5 today to do interviews and photo shoots then there's no way he would have been able to check if the money was in his bank account let alone transfer money into another persons account (remember he got out on Friday and Saturday he would have been booked for interviews etc and Sunday banks are closed).

Why not wait a week or two and then you can start pointing fingers and accusing Aaron and Alex and Jay if they have gone back on any agreements re the money.

IMO, Yes. He is her child, although one would think that at his age, 27, she'd let him try to make his own way in the world, he's at an age where he should be able to stand on his own two feet by now, surely, without his mother pleading (yes, that was the word she used on twitter to CTweedy I believe) for them to back her son.

Aaron didn't mention anything about splitting his money with Jay when he was on OKTV tonight. When asked what he would do with it he said it was for his son. I also think Jay's mum could well know something that we don't. She is in a better position to than we are.
But nevertheless, you are right. Let's wait and see. It could all work out well in the end - and I hope it does. Then we can all breathe a sign of relief and move on!

In everyday life, yes, a mother would allow her child to get 'make his own way in the world' but he was in a fecking tv competition if you hadn't noticed. Lol I'm pretty sure you'd remark about how 'jay is such a vile pig, not even his mother will support him' if she hadn't.

What about Aaron's brother 'shamlessly' trying to drum up support by posting on here, ds and fb groups?! Tut tut David. Don't support your brother. He can stand on his own two feet, you know

That is not the case. I was annoyed at people ripping into Jay and his mother because Aaron hadn't appeared to share the money. How hypocritical and unfair was that?

Are Aaron's parents deceased, does anyone know? If not, the only person who has shown any support for him is his brother. His friend certainly didn't - saying he was a game player when Aaron totally denies this.
Strange that only his brother really supported him. Or maybe it is very telling.
