Only just caught up with Friday's E4 episode. What a blinder that was.

The acting from those three was friggin' amazing and I found myself getting a lump in my thought as the episode came to the conclusion of this brilliantly told story.

TBH i thought Friday's E4 was a bit bland and a bit of a letdown think it was stupid making Gilly a rapist. Really hope he comes back he is a Oaks legend his and rhys freindship back in the day was great

I remember reading something like this too Jords.

Unless they meant it in a way that it will go in that direction until one day when a conclusion was finally revealed.

I always expected it to be a little slow after the Silas story came to a conclusion, but bloody hell those kids are hard to watch at times. I was totally bored with Bart and the beer barrel story.

Thankfully Myra, Jacqui, Warren and Mitzeee are around to keep the show alive.

I don't mind the 6th formers apart from Neil and Jonno, Maddie and Callum have potential to be intriguing characters. Apart from Ash and Will though the new Freshers are awful, I can see swift exits for most of them in the near future.

The main problem with Hollyoaks is that they keep bringing in new characters when they've already got too many underused or useless characters to begin with. There's at least ten characters I'd get rid of before bringing more in.
