I think it's because we don't know what to expect, if you had posted what all the characters traits were and their backgrounds etc, you might have had people fighting for that character. .

I've now had applicants for all 15 characters - but I'm going to leave this a couple of days to see if anyone else's interested, since a couple of the applicants have taken part before and I would like to see new players for the most part
