Well... Yes. Which is why I stated 'in my opinion' in my first post.

The beatles are not bigger than him, neither is madonna or elvis. I'm not saying they aren't/weren't big, but not in the same league as him. I'm not just talking about the quality of their music, it's the brand as a whole.

She's basically got 30 Seconds To Mars syndrome now. That's the problem. Whacky costumes and bizarre music videos are fine, I like that, it's when now it's got some B.S. meaning and your fans have their own tag and some B.S. purpose and all that jazz that's what's been her downfall this year.

At least Rihanna is just wank material that doesn't sound offensive when your coming up on Ecstasy.

Re Shaun's comment about people not taking her seriously; why not? I really don't understand how its become pretty "uncool" to like GaGa. I can understand people not taking the likes of Katy Perry or One Direction ad they are just manufactured pop pish, but GaGa can sing, dance, write, produce, play an instrument, choreograph an entire show and design. She's creative, sassy, sexy and delightfully bonkers! What's not to like?

What on earth has the fact that she writes and performs her own material got to do with anything? Coldplay do that and I'd still rather wade around in Danny Dyer's piss than listen to them.

Why should you respect and take someone seriously just because they - hold the fort, Sarge - actually make their own music?!

I think she's become almost a parody of herself, she seems to just act up to this whole weird persona she's created and just tries to go for the shock factor as much as possible. Like back when she did Just Dance it was a pretty standard video, then only a few years later she's naked on the side of the bath stuffing her face in cheerios and smearing them all over her and trying to make out there's some deep meaning behind that
