I personally object to those saying she was selfish though. Suicide is hardly selfish. A bit of understanding on the subject wouldn't go amiss here.

Suicide is selfish. It is also an extremely difficult choice to make, but that does not make it any less a selfish act.

This young tragic girl for example: gave no thought or understanding to the lifetime of pain, suffering and devastating loss she has now placed upon her family - never mind on the shoulders of an innocent young lad.
