A man has been charged with the murder of a teenage boy who was stabbed to death on London's Oxford Street during the Boxing Day sales.

Seydou Diarrassouba, 18, of Mitcham, south-west London, was killed on 26 December in the Foot Locker sports shop, near Bond Street Tube station.

The Metropolitan Police has charged Thulani Thomas Khumalo, 20, of Etherley Road, north London, with murder.

He is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Another seven males - two aged 22, three aged 16 and others aged 20 and 17 - have been arrested in relation to the police inquiry and remain on bail.

Seven men previously arrested have been released without charge.

Mr Joseph, from Conway Road, is set to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court later.

Mr Khumalo, from Etherley Road, was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 11 April.
