Pay some really good FX guys to mock up a common enemy that the world can unite against and come to realise we're all pretty much the same really. I've seen Independence Day, I know how it works...

Independance Day is one of my quilty pleasures...shamelessly, because I have crushes on both Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldblum...the movie itself is utter c*ck

Me too... I have to admit I watch it ever time it's repeated, which is about once a week. And yeah... Jeff Goldblum has that naughty twinkle. Finally! A man my mother would approve of.
